Biography
Claire Edington is pursuing a PhD in the History and Ethics of Public Health at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. Her research interests include colonial psychiatry, history of public health, and history of the French empire, particularly in Southeast Asia. Ms. Edington is currently a Fellow in the NIH pre-doctoral training program in Gender, Sexuality and Health. She received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Public Health Studies and French.
