Elizabeth Tipton is an Assistant Professor of Applied Statistics. Her research focuses on the development and assessment of statistics related to three areas: 1) the generalizability of findings from field experiments; 2) meta-analysis; and 3) the use of robust and cluster robust standard errors. She is a founding member of the Mindset Scholars Network and is a co-PI on the National Growth Mindset Study, a nationally representative randomized experiment of a brief growth mindset intervention currently taking place in 80 high schools. Dr. Tipton is currently on the Editorial Board at the Journal of Educational and Behavioral Staistics, the Journal of Research on Educational Effectiveness, and Psychological Bulletin.
