Rachel Ferat

Uptown Coordinator


Rachel Ferat began working at Mailman School of Public Health during college breaks as a part-time Data Entry Technician. Since then, she has held several different positions at Columbia, and she also supported community education projects at Sesame Workshop, taught Fourth Grade in a New York public school, and was a stay at home parent for several years. As the Uptown Coordinator for the CPRC, Rachel supports CPRC members at Columbia’s medical center campus including faculty, researchers, visiting scholars, doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows. She also runs the day to day operations for the CHAIN Project and provides administrative support to several other CPRC-related research projects. 

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College and a Master of Arts in Education from New York University.
