Wendy Chavkin is prof of clinical population and family health and obstetrics-gynecology. She is a member of CPRC's steering committee and co-convener of its faculty seminar on work-family issues. Chavkin's research focuses on the medical and public health consequences of delayed childbearing and the resulting rise in assisted reproductive technologies. She is investigating the relationships between fertility trends, sex selective abortion and policy responses. She has edited volumes about globalized motherhood and globalized fatherhood. She co-founded Global Doctors for Choice and serves on its Board.
