William Schneider

Graduate Student in Social Policy Analysis, Columbia University School of Social Work


Will Schneider is a doctoral student concentrating in Social Policy Analysis at the Columbia University School of Social Work. His research interests include fatherhood, parenting, child development, child maltreatment, and social policy. He is currently researching non-residential father involvement and the prevention of child maltreatment. Will is completing an MSW at Columbia and previously worked at the National Center for Children in Poverty at Columbia University and the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing at Princeton University. He is a Doris Duke Foundation Graduate Fellow for the Promotion of Child Wellbeing.
